Did You Receive? Cindy Stewart Podcast (from the vault) Show Notes March 10, 2020 We often think of our relationship with God the Father and God the Son but our relationship with God the Holy Spirit is regularly forgotten, overlooked and even ignored. It was Billy Graham who said, “It is a waste of time for us Christians to look for power we do not intend to use.” In today’s podcast, we are going to talk about our relationship with the Holy Spirit. When we pursue an ongoing, deep relationship with the third person of the Trinity, we can expect supernatural things to take place. Acts 1:8 (NLT) says, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The Holy Spirit is the Power agent in the Trinity! It is the Holy Spirit who empowers us to accomplish the seemingly impossible! While we preach Christ crucified, the repentance of sin, the good news of the gospel, the infilling and outward empowerment of the Holy Spirit, we simultaneously invite a move of God that we do not understand!
