Fear of the Lord | Cindy Stewart Podcast

In this episode, Pastor Cindy shares a message about the Fear of the Lord. It’s not something comes from your intellect or your mind. It comes from your spirit. The Fear of the Lord is your spirit submitted to the Lordship of the Holy Spirit. When we were young, there were things that often provoked fear in us. When we had done something wrong and we knew that dad was soon coming home. Maybe it was fear of getting in trouble. There was a fear of punishment. Those are real fears. But the fear of the Lord is not about punishment, it is about protection.

The fear of the Lord keeps our hearts and lives in check.

The fears of the Lord prolongs life, But the years of the wicked will be shortened. Proverbs 10:27
The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction, he will not be visited by evil. Proverbs 19:23
The fear of the Lord Is the fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death. Proverbs 14:27
