Finishing Well Episode 25 Beginning well is a momentary thing; Finishing well is a lifelong thing. ~ Ravi Zacharias ~ One of the greatest legacies we can leave is to finish life well. This is actually a principle found in the Bible, “...let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us.” (Hebrews 12:1, AMP) It is in the normal everyday we can learn to apply this principle. I use the term Lame Duck when I experience someone who doesn’t endure until the end. Someone who is waiting for their time, in a specific role, to be completed and has eased up in their effectiveness. For example, they are moving from one job to the next without completing the tasks at hand. This keeps them from finishing well. Here are three outcomes from this type of behavior.
