Following The Spirit: Tandem Movement

The concept of connecting with the spiritual realm is all around us. It is presented to us in various ways; through music, art, television, books, blogs and the list goes on. The reality is that we can and should connect to the spirit realm. We just need to do so the way that God has intended for us; through an authentic relationship with the Holy Spirit.
By following the Holy Spirit, we can learn how to move in tandem with God.
Colossians 1:16 says, “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. Throughout scripture there is evidence of an invisible realm.”
In today’s message we will discuss the two main action steps we must take, and replete over and over, as born again believers, to move in tandem with God’s Spirit.
We must daily seek the Word of God
We must consistently seek God’s Circle of Relationship
As believers in Jesus, our positions have changed. Our reality is now living from the spiritual realm. Understanding and applying this is crucial to the life of every follower of Jesus.
Colossians 3:1-3 says, “Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. 3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.”
Positionally, the foundation built within our spirit-man enables us to live from the spiritual realm while living here on earth just like Jesus did. Furthermore, just like Jesus did, we must daily seek the Word of God and consistently seek God’s circle of relationship to move in tandem with His Spirit.

Following The Spirit: Preposterous Outcomes

The word preposterous means: contrary to nature, reason, or common sense. It is contrary to our thoughts, logic, understanding, training, and intellect. So many of the things God does are so beyond believable, we can even call them preposterous.
Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) says, “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
God is continually doing things in our lives that are far beyond what we can understand in the natural, but His Spirit in us stirs our faith to believe beyond what we are able to comprehend. In today's message we will look at the how, and why behind God’s Preposterous outcomes.
God’s preposterous outcomes:
- Build our trust and faith in Him
- Develop our skills to discern and recognize the Holy Spirit
- Give us life in the Spirit to experience His fullness and wonder
- Provide oneness with God the Father to accomplish His will
By living in the Spirit you can and should experience preposterous outcomes in your life. These happen when we are present, willing, and responsive to His leading. When we see His unbelievable, mind-blowing outcomes our faith grows stronger.
It is my hope and prayer that you will choose to be able to identify and embrace God’s preposterous outcomes in your life as you choose to follow His Spirit. Are you ready?

Following The Spirit: Discerning The Times

To say that things in this current season of our lives are abnormal would be a gross understatement. I am sure you have felt the significance of your daily routine being interrupted by not being able to do the things you normally do, as well as being required to implement things in your life that were not ever even on your radar. It can be both difficult and exhausting.
I have spent a good amount of time with the Lord asking Him for clear discernment. God's desire for His people has not changed. He wants for us to discern the times so we will be positioned for His move in this season.
In today’s message we will talk about how:
1) The Spirit is guiding us every step
2) We speak the language of the Harvest
3) The enemy’s schemes will be revealed
4) We are Kings and Priests of God
By following the Holy Spirit we will be able to walk that path without slipping.
Ps 32:8 (TPT) says, “I hear the Lord saying, ‘I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide.’”
It is imperative that we be able to discern what God is doing outside the Church, so we are prepared to respond as the Church.
I believe that God is bringing us back, uniting us, and drawing in His scattered for the purpose of glorifying Himself furthering His Kingdom of love here on earth. It is time to discern what is happening, to build a stronger foundation, and to follow where, and how, the Spirit wants to develop our signature sound as the Apostolic voice for the Lord.

Kingdom Ownership

I love sticky statements. The kind of things people say, or write, that is memorable long after you hear, or read them. One such statement has recently been buzzing through my mind from a business book I read not too long ago.
“Transform your employees to think like owners.”
My background is in business. I have worked for several different companies throughout my life, but it was not until I grew in my understanding of business principals that I was able to shift my perspective and think like an owner. While I cannot pinpoint an exact time and date that my mindset changed, I know the season was while I was working for a family-owned and operated business. The owners treated their employees like family and welcomed feedback. For me, that feedback solidified my contribution to the company and caused me to feel personal ownership.
In today's message, we will discuss how God created the family and encourages our personal ownership of its growth. We have been mandated to build His Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. Philippians 2:13 (AMP) says, “For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.”
We were birthed out of God’s love (John 3:16,21) into Kingdom life. It is His love that opens the door to action and enables the transformation of our identity - body, soul, and spirit - so every action, thought, and word will reflect Christ and His Kingdom. When we change our mindset and walk in obedience to Christ, we carry His authority to take ownership of the great commission we have been given to make disciples and see His Kingdom established on the earth.
It is my hope you will join me as we ask the Lord to transform our minds to think like the owners He created us to be. Are you ready?

America's Breakthrough

America’s Breakthrough

America is experiencing a breakthrough! Even during this worldwide pandemic, God is doing something revolutionary. He is speaking to His children. He is moving through His people. He is causing a breakthrough in America.
In 2 Chronicles 14, we read about King Asa who had recently taken the throne of Judah. The Bible says he did what was right in the sight of the Lord. King Asa took down all the foreign pillars, removed the high places, and any object of worship that took the place of the one true God. God responded to Asa’s obedience by granting his kingdom peace and allowing his people to build and prosper.
Have you ever noticed, in times of peace and devotion to the Lord, the enemy always wants to stir things up? That was true for King Asa and that is still true for us today. We continue to face the very same enemy. He uses the same tactics but shows himself in different forms.
So how do we embrace the breakthrough and defeat the enemy? We must choose to stay in covenant with God. Right now there is a breaker anointing over America, just like there was in the time of King Asa. God continues to use individuals like us. People who are not perfect but who are willing to step forward and be transformed. People who choose to stay in covenant with Him.
God is currently creating a new formation of leaders. Leaders who are choosing to switch careers. Leaders who are choosing to put their “normal” lives on hold to answer the Lord’s transformative call for America’s breakthrough - A breakthrough that was birthed through prayer, is sustained by obedience and will be remembered because of God’s unwavering faithfulness.
We must be positioned and ready to respond to the call of God’s voice. How will you choose to respond to the breakthrough that is taking place? I cannot wait to see all that the Lord has in store. I hope you will join me.

New Era

There is a New Era breaking open right before our eyes! God wants us, His church to, understand the times and obtain the knowledge of how we are to proactively respond in obedience to what He is doing. God is opening the eyes of His people right now and it is exciting!
Hosea 6:3 (AMP) says, "So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. His appearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn, And He will come to us [in salvation] like the [heavy] rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth.”
What is God opening our eyes too? What does He want us to understand? How does He expect us to respond? God wants us to see, hear and understand:
- His fulfillment of Scripture
- His voice for this time in HIStory
- How our voice can and should impact our community and Nation
- His heart for His people
- His strategic hand in the natural and spiritual realms
Amos 3:7 (NKJV) says, “Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.”
God is speaking. The question is: are we listening?

Are you a planner? Are you the person who likes to have a strategy before you set out to accomplish your goals? Do you have goals?
Proverbs 16:9 says, “Within your heart, you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there.” God has a plan for your life and that plan is far greater than anything you can ever dream up on your own!
In today’s message, we will discuss how you can implement God’s strategy to defeat the enemy and accomplish His plan for you today! Key strategies like:
~ Remembering God’s promises to you and your family
~ Agreeing with God’s call on your life right now
~ Gathering with God’s chosen
~ Remembering your supernatural authority
~ Speaking His Word and releasing His miracles
As God’s people, we are equipped with strategy, powers, and each other to enable us to win the war and come out strong. We must choose to be acutely aware of our murmuring, be careful of who we are listening to, and soak every day in prayer.
May the provision of the Lord go before you in both the natural and supernatural as you engage in God’s Strategy For Today.

The Lord is calling His people, His Church, to a new season of ascending. He wants us to focus completely on Him. When we step into something new, new things are required of us.
Mark 2:22 (TPT) says, “And who would pour fresh, new wine into an old wineskin? Eventually, the wine will ferment and make the wineskin burst, losing everything—the wine will be spilled and the wineskin ruined. Instead, new wine is always poured into new wineskins.”
In this message, my good friend and colleague, Pastor Gene Cate and I share how we believe the Lord is calling for His Church to wake up and ascend.
The Lord is:
Changing the wineskin
Calling us away from the old form
Developing our hearing to His voice
Speaking through His prophets
Changes are coming that will require more flexibility, mobility, direction, and revelation. It is imperative that we are really paying attention to prophetic words, visions, and dreams. We must choose not to return to normal. That season is over. God is doing a new thing! What an amazing opportunity to build up one another in Christ in this new season.

We are living in a monumental time right now! In this season, there is an accelerated shift! God is moving, transitioning and accelerating things right before our eyes. He is bringing the regions together. He is raising up His people to unite for a greater purpose. I believe we will experience church life that we have never before experienced. We are going through a transformation. We will experience revival. It is truly exciting!
In this podcast we will uncover the following marks of revelation-driven Churches:

~ Fueled by Intercession
~ Unpredictable and Spontaneous
~ Everybody Participating
~ Prophetic Assignments
~ Believers Meetings
~ Focused on Spiritual Growth

I believe it is out of these revelation-driven churches that revival will break forth in our generation! Revival is about love. Love for the Holiness of God, of Jesus being embraced by the Body and about not letting the person next to you slip and fall. Revival is about loving God so much that we will not allow one another to live outside the fullness of God.
It takes everyone joined together, yielded to what the Holy Spirit wants to do, to make it work. I believe God wants to grow us. We are in training with one another so we can run together to advance His Kingdom.

Have you ever found yourself wanting to go back to a specific time or experience with the Lord because it was so great? Maybe something you hear, see, or even something you smell can trigger nostalgia for a time that you wish you could go back to. How about when you are actually in the moment and you just wish that you had the power to stay?
John 15:9-11 says, “Just as my Father has loved me, I too have loved you’ll so stay in my love. If you keep my commands, you will stay in my love — just as I have kept my Father’s commands and stay in His love. I have said this to you so that my joy may be in you, and your joy be complete.”
Jesus had the ability to stay and has given us, His followers, that same staying power! In this week's podcast, we will look at some practical ways to unlock our staying power!
I pray that you will allow the Holy Spirit to lift your burdens and refresh your soul by continually filling you with His joy. Stay in His presence.
