Today we are going to talk about God’s dream to partner with you.
This weekend I spoke at a conference. The night before I was to speak I had a dream and I actually woke myself up preaching.
This was the dream:
I was standing at the podium that was covered with several different types of bags. The first bag was structured, like a paper bag, able to stand upright. The next bag was transparent and had no structure. I could see many other various types of bags all lined up. Each bag needed to be handled in its own special way in order to fill it up.
The Lord was showing me that each person is unique in the way they encounter Him. And, it is important to understand the way you engage with God. Knowing how you encounter Him facilitates your ability to move with Him in partnership.

Welcome to Unleashing the Champion Within.
We are continuing our series from my new book, God’s Dream for Your Life.  Our focus for this episode is God’s dreams for wholeness in your life, specifically in your body.
I want to tell you a little about where I am now, a physical challenge I had, and the journey God took me on to wholeness.
About a month ago I started thinking about the St. Anthony’s Meek and Mighty Triathlon that I had participated in many years ago. I trained every morning at 5 a.m. with two of my girlfriends.
It was so much fun I decided to go to the next step.  So, I have begun training for the St. Anthony’s Sprint Triathlon 2019. The Sprint Triathlon consist of a 5K run, 750 meter swim and a 12 mile bike.

How did I get started?  I have always been somewhat athletic. In my twenties I played competitive tennis, ran and played a little golf. In the 90’s I really developed a passion for running and would run every day except Sunday.
Then, I ran into a physical issue which forced me to quit running. Here is an excerpt from my book of what happened next.

Today I am sharing about when your dream launches!
I am writing this blog on a flight home from Phoenix. I am trying to capture all the highlights of my book launch week while they are still fresh in my mind.
It all started two years ago with a passion and a nudge from God to write the story of His dreams for us. As I wrote, the burning for others to know the wonder of God and all He has planned for them became my driving motivation. After hours of writing, editing and rewrites, the book was ready to be published and released.
I decided I wanted my friends and family to be the first to see the book, so I planned a book launch party. You know, when you have worked so hard to finish a project you want everyone to join in the celebration. We laughed, had yummy treats, I read one of my favorite parts and signed books.
I was overwhelmed by their encouragement and love cheering me on!

Let me tell you about my friend Aylssa and her dream. She is an artist. She began looking for a way to express her creativity, while providing her independence and financial security. She discovered a canvas which surprised her — fingernails! Her designs are individually crafted for the person for day-to-day wear, as well as, special occasion. Aylssa’s business is three years old and is so successful, that you have to know someone to get an appointment!

Imagination Episode 44

Episode 44
This morning we are going to talk about imagination.  I have talked about this before.  But, the Lord has been talking to me about it again over the last 90 days. Usually I ponder on stuff for a while, and think about it. But, last week God said, “I want you to start releasing this,” and I said okay. It is funny, because we know when we get something and we don’t have the fullness of that revelation yet.
As we begin to share it more fullness comes because somebody else will get a piece of it, and as we release it there is really like a corporate anointing that joins in it to bring it more forward. I think it is going to challenge us a little bit. Because I know it challenges me, and it will also stretch us a little bit. You know that God likes to stretch us and if we allow it we will be activated in a different way. And I want to be activated in the fullness that God has for me and that is what I want for us.
I want to pray for our minds to be centered on what God wants us to know. Lord we thank you for Your Word. Your Word is active and alive and as we press into Your Word we really want to cooperate with You Lord. We reason together, as Your Word states in Isaiah 1:18 – “Come and let us reason together.” We want to press into this Word and You will help us to unfold it in our own lives. In Jesus name, Amen. I know I preached on imagination a couple of years ago in April 2015. This message is on the archives on our website, www.wearethegathering.com, so you can go back and look at it.
