Preparing for Promotion Episode 24
Being ready isn’t enough; you have to be
prepared for a promotion or any other significant change.
Pat Riley
Promotion can come when you least expect it. If your daily actions are investing in your future, then you are preparing for the next promotion.
My first promotion came when I was 19 years old. I was working in the accounting department for a subsidiary of a large corporation in Atlanta, who decided to move their headquarters to Tennessee. They offered me a transfer with a promotion to the Information Systems Department, not accounting. They offered to pay for my computer programming training and to pay all the educational cost to finish my business degree. After a little salary negotiations, I was on my way.
Why did I get the promotion?

You are Your Best Investment Episode 23
“Investing in yourself is the best investment you will ever make.
It will not only improve your life —
It will improve the lives of all those around you.”
Robin Sharma
Each week, I end my Podcast and Blog with, “Remember You are the best investment you can make.” This week I thought we should discuss why this statement is true and why it applies to everyone!
The reason you are your best investment is because you were born to be significant. As you live a life of significance, you empower others in their significance. In other words, YOU carry worth, greatness and value and what you do impacts others. You are an influencer for the time you live in.

Blueprint for Success Episode 22
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
― Benjamin Franklin
I have been amazed at what I have been able to accomplish by having a Blueprint for Success. We are only a few weeks into the new year and one of my major plans for this year had become a reality. It was offering one-hour webinars each quarter to equip people in specific areas and here we are.
I hosted my first webinar last week! I will have the Replay link at the end of the Podcast and Blog. As I developed the webinar, I realized I had so much more to help you meet your goals and live your dreams than could be shared in 1 hour. So I have developed an online class, VIP Next Level Mentoring: Live Your Dream and Experience Your Passion. The details can be found at the end of this blog.
Last week we talked about the importance of discovering the “Why” behind our actions.
Discovering your why, the reason you do what you do, is one of most important pieces to living a fulfilled life.
Once we discover our “WHY” then we must develop a Blueprint to facilitate our dreams into reality. Our Blueprint takes our “Why” and develops a systematic schedule in order to get it accomplished.
We know that if it doesn’t get on our schedule — then it doesn’t get done!
Why is a Blueprint so important?

Discovering Your Why Episode 21
If Your Why doesn’t make you cry —
it’s not your Why
Coach Hite
Many years ago, I was working for a company doing a job that I loved. I enjoyed going to work everyday, but still I felt unsatisfied, like something was missing.
A friend of mine invited me to a Tony Robbin’s, two-day seminar. And yes — it was the one with the fire walk — and yes, I did it!
I remember watching Tony as he invited individuals up on stage and in a matter of minutes they would have an epiphany about their passion. Joy and excitement would overwhelm them - so much so they would cry — both men and women!
I had just discovered the why that made me cry!
I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to help others find their passion, so they could live the life they dreamed about.
Every person should know his or her why.

Jesus Who? Gifts of Christmas Episode 20
Today is the last installment of our special Christmas series called, Jesus Who? We will explore the gifts that keep giving long after Christmas is over.
“He who has not Christmas in his heart
will never find it under a tree.”
Roy L. Smith
Every year Jesus gives me a gift on December 24. His gift giving began about 15 years ago, early on a Christmas Eve morning. I was doing my normal morning routine of sitting in my quiet place with a cup of coffee, my journal and Bible talking to God. When suddenly the Lord began to speak inside my heart.
Cindy, you have felt a small part of my heart. The greatest gift I can give you is more of Me.

Jesus who? I Am Episode 19
We are continuing our special Christmas series called, Jesus Who?
The true origins of Christmas began with the birth of a child, a child who is known by many names with one being the most recognizable – Jesus. And this is where our series begins, Jesus Who?
This series has a foundational belief that eternity has been built into our hearts. Within the heartbeat of eternity, comes our hunger for purpose, our quest to make a difference and desire to be loved. This eternity drives us to seek after something or someone bigger than ourselves.
Over the last two weeks, we have discovered the many names in our exploration of Jesus Who?
Let’s explore who Jesus says He is. Jesus made seven I Am statements about who He is in Scripture.

Jesus Who? Finding the Unexpected Episode 17
“You would not have called to me unless
I had been calling to you,” said the Lion
The Silver Chair C.S. Lewis
For the next few weeks we are going depart from our normal content and focus our attention on the Christmas season with a series called, Jesus Who?
When you think about Christmas there are many ways to consider the season. And no, the North Pole, Santa Claus, tiny reindeer and a sleigh full of toys aren’t in the mix.
But, if you grew up like I did my family balanced both — Santa and his crew with the baby Jesus in the manger, the animals, the three wise men and usually the little drummer boy.
The true origins of Christmas began with the birth of a child, a child who is known by many names with one being the most recognizable – Jesus. And this is where our series begins, Jesus Who?
First we need an understanding that eternity has been built into our hearts and it is eternity that drives us to seek after something or someone bigger than ourselves. And in our seeking we often find unexpected revelation.
